What's a Featured Artist?
All of the artists we feature at 589 Designs are Featured Artists. The front page artist rotates based on our in-house criteria.

Is my application guaranteed to pass?
No. For example, copyrighted material will automatically fail the application.
We also aim for a certain level of quality of artwork.
Why does the application have a cost?
Simply put, it's for spam filtering. We want to work with people who are serious about their art. If that's you, we want to support your success.
The cost is waived if a coupon event is active.
Is it a 1-time fee to apply?
Yes, the application has a one-time fee per art piece uploaded.
We will have coupons during certain events to incentivize new artists, so a few times per year that fee might be waived.
How much will I make?
The amount you can make depends on the sales that your specific items bring. That money will be passively deposited to you.
If your art is chosen, you will receive a royalty of 50% of the profit generated by your art's products' sales after production costs.
That means these applications generally pay for themselves after just one sale.
Keep in mind that each art upload is considered a separate application.
